The New Website Is Nearly Ready!

Hi Everyone!  It’s been a busy couple of weeks.  I’ve been tutoring almost every day, and I heard from an agent who suggested an intriguing change for my novel… so another revision might be on the horizon.  Plus next week I’m teaching a class on Landing a Literary Agent at the Bethesda Writer’s Center.  (There’s still spots if you’re interested and in the area!)

Plus I’ve been busy with the baby.  We started experimenting with solids (with mixed results), and recently my husband and I took baby to the mountains for a four-day weekend of hiking. (She can handle about 5 miles in the carrier before she starts complaining.)

And somehow I’ve still been finding time to work on my new website (and stress out about it).  Over the weekend I had a crisis about what colors to choose.

I’m not a visual person.  Or a tech person.  Or a business person.  Sometimes I wonder why the heck I ever decided to give my blog a professional makeover.

But I’m feeling pretty good about it right now.  I’ve also realized that it’s never going to be perfect, and with that knowledge I may be ready to share it with you guys in the next week or two.

We’ll see.

I’ve still got a lot to do.  And a lot to learn.  Stay tuned.

  1. I love busy weeks as long as there’s something productive to be shown at the end of it! Neat on the agent suggestion–I love revising my novels (almost as much as I hate it!). It’s so much fun to see how it morphs!

    • I agree — sometimes I love revising, especially when I have a good idea of what needs to be changed… I hate it when I know it needs to be revised, but I don’t know how to make it better! 🙂
